Okinawa Discover Scuba Diving

At KUMOODIVE, we don’t rush the experience or treat it like a quick “follow-the-guide” dive.

Instead, we take the time to guide you step by step — helping you become familiar with the equipment, understand the sensations, and feel truly ready before descending.

As nervousness fades and confidence grows, you’ll discover that the underwater world is calm,

bright, and surprisingly peaceful.

This experience is designed especially for first-time divers.
No swimming skills or diving certification are required.

Sample Diving Itinerary

Half-day

¥21,800

There are morning sessions (meeting at 07:00) and afternoon sessions (meeting at 12:00).

Meet at the port at 07:00 / 12:00

If you are assembling on your own, please arrive at least 10 minutes in advance.

07:15/ 12:15 Data registration, equipment confirmation

After completing the personal data registration procedure

Appropriate diving equipment will be assigned.

07:30/ 12:30 Onboard briefing, departure for the dive site.

The dive guide will explain the itinerary, precautions, and equipment preparation on the boat.

Provides notes in both English and Chinese.

Diving will be conducted at two dive sites from 8:00 to 11:00 and from 12:00 to 15:00.

11:00 / 15:00 Return to Naha (warm water showers and changing rooms are available on board)

To protect the ocean, shampoo and shower gel are not allowed on board.Dairy and other chemical products.

The itinerary ends at 11:30 / 15:30.

Customers who have booked pick-up and drop-off services,Staff will pick you up and take you to the designated hotel once the vehicle is ready.

Two Discover Scuba Diving sessions included —

no additional dives can be added.

07:15 Data registration and equipment confirmation

08:00 First Dive Point and Second Dive Point

Two dive sites will be arranged before lunch.

11:30 Lunch on board

The diving boat will not land on the island; guests will enjoy light meals they have brought themselves on board.

12:30 Third Dive Point

After lunch, we will proceed to the third dive site. Additional dives may be arranged depending on individual conditions.

14:00 Return to Naha (the boat has warm showers and changing rooms)

To protect the ocean, chemical products such as shampoo and shower gel are not allowed on board.

The trip ends at 15:30.

Customers who have booked the pick-up and drop-off service will be taken to their designated hotel by staff once the vehicle is ready.

*The tour is expected to end around 3 PM, but the actual time may vary depending on sea conditions and traffic .

Package covers two scuba experience dives,

with the option to add a third dive for ¥6,000.

Participation Requirements

Ages 12–60
Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s consent form

All participants are required to carefully read and follow the Diving Health Self-Assessment Form before joining.
If a participant does not meet the required health standards on the day of the activity, they will not be able to participate and no refund will be issued.

Important Notes

The itinerary and dive locations may change depending on weather and sea conditions. Please stay reachable the day before your trip.
Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited before diving activities.
Please review our Booking Policy and Cancellation Policy before making a reservation.
Flying within 18 hours after scuba diving is not allowed. Please plan your travel schedule accordingly.
For full-day Discover Scuba Diving trips, an optional third dive can be added on site for ¥6,000.
