USS Emmons

A World War II shipwreck diving site located in the waters near Kouri Island in northern Okinawa.

 

A U.S. destroyer, about 100 meters long, lies dormant on the deep blue seabed.

Some of the turrets and hull structure are still clearly visible.

 

The water is quite deep, making it suitable for AOW (Advanced Open Water) divers with a rating of 50 or higher.

Explore the unique landscape where shipwrecks and marine life intertwine.

Coral Garden

Sandbank is known for its shallow reefs and soft coral landscapes, making it a very popular shore dive site.

A well-known shore diving spot located in the central part of Okinawa Island.

The seabed is covered with coral reefs, boasting a rich ecosystem and abundant fish populations.

It is a popular dive site for observing and photographing tiny marine life.

It is easily accessible and suitable for divers of all levels.

Cape Heto

The northernmost dive site in Okinawa is known for its spectacular limestone caves and canyon terrain.

 

The water depth here varies greatly.

With its strong sense of fluidity, it is an excellent choice for drift diving.

 

Dive sites such as Hedo Air Dome, underwater canyons, and cliff walls, combined with the giant shadows of tropical fish, stingrays, and sharks, make every dive full of adventure.

 

Requires experience with 75 or more AOW (Advanced Level 75) units.

Main Gorilla Rock

Located in the northern waters of Okinawa, it is named after the rocks in the sea that resemble gorillas.

 

The dive site is surrounded by open terrain, where you can often see schools of fish gathering, and there is also a chance to encounter large fish.

 

Similar topographical fissures and rock mass structures create a rich underwater tunnel and fissure landscape.

It is one of the dive sites for exploring the charm of the northern waters of Okinawa.

 

For divers who enjoy exploring terrain and observing small creatures,

Sample Diving Itinerary

  • Meet at the port at 07:00

If you are assembling on your own, please arrive at least 10 minutes in advance.
* Traffic information .

  • 07:15 Data registration and equipment confirmation

After completing the personal information registration process, appropriate diving equipment will be assigned.

  • 07:30 Onboard briefing, departure for the dive site.

The dive guide will explain the itinerary, precautions, and equipment preparation on the boat.
Provides notes in both English and Chinese.

  • 08:00 First Dive Point and Second Dive Point

Two dive sites will be arranged before lunch.

  • 11:30 Lunch on board

The diving boat will not land on the island; guests will enjoy light meals they have brought themselves on board.

  • 12:30 Third dive site (whether to add more depends on the conditions of each dive site)

After lunch, we headed to the third dive site.

  • 14:00 Return to Naha (the boat has warm showers and changing rooms)

To protect the ocean, chemical products such as shampoo and shower gel are not allowed on board.

  • The trip ends at 15:30.

Customers who have booked the pick-up and drop-off service will be taken to their designated hotel by staff once the vehicle is ready.

*The tour is expected to end around 3 PM, but the actual time may vary depending on sea conditions and traffic .

The times mentioned above are for reference only.

The actual itinerary time will be adjusted according to the sea conditions and the dive site visited on the day.

Participation Requirements

  • Ages 12–60

  • Participants under 18 must have parent or guardian consent

  • Open Water Diver certification or higher is required

All participants must carefully read and follow the Diving Health Self-Assessment Form before joining the activity.If a participant does not meet the required health standards on the day of the activity, they will not be allowed to participate and no refund will be issued.

Important Notes

  • The itinerary and dive locations may change depending on weather and sea conditions. Please remain reachable the day before the trip.

  • Alcohol consumption is not allowed on the day of the activity.

  • Please review our Booking Policy and Cancellation Policy before making a reservation.

  • Flying within 18 hours after scuba diving is not recommended. Please plan your travel schedule accordingly.

  • If you wish to add a third dive, it must be arranged in advance and cannot be added on the day of the activity.
